THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 1863.

Very pleasent, Two Lady Nurses came in to see if we wished any asistance, Embarked on board the Rob Roy at 5.O.C arived at Columbus at 6 1/2 O.C Stop at the Soldiers Home

SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 1863.

Arrived at Paducah at 4.O.C. A.M. Day pleasent Lay over one day Attend Divine service in the Eavening

 

FRIDAY 17

Lay over at Columbus, Weather warm & Pleasent, Attend Church in the Eavening Columbus all quiet

 

MONDAY 20

cool & pleasent Leave Paducah at 3.O.C. for Fort Heiman nothing transpires worthy of note

 

SATURDAY 18

Warm & Pleasent Start for Fort Heiman, Leave Columbus on board the Rob Roy at 11 O.C Embark on the St. Louis from Cairo to Paducah, Lay up two Hours for wind

 

TUESDAY 21

arrive at Fort Heiman 7 O.C. .A.M. Company Drill in the forenoon & Battallion Drill in the .P.M. Dress Parade at five O.C. Receive two Letters from Home
