Abstract: A partly printed document written and signed by Timothy Fales, clerk, directing the sheriff to attach the property of Thomas Turner, of Rochester (Plymouth County), to the value of £40, to compel his appearance before the Bristol County Inferior Court of Common Pleas to answer for his failure to pay plaintiff Daniel Lewis, of Newport, Rhode Island, for a hogshead of rum; with endorsement of Noah Sprague, Plymouth County deputy sheriff.
Physical Description: Letterpress on paper, with manuscript entries in ink; 1 page (31 x 20 cm.) on 1 sheet. Red wax seal upper left. Docketing and endorsement on verso.
