Richmond we landed at Richmond about 4.o'clk P.M. got off the boat and went Sea Brooks Hospital for the night March the 16th I was transfered to Chimbarayor [sp. Chimborazo] Hospital March the 20th
on the 21st I Drew 1865 clothing & pay up to march I got a furlough for 30 days on the 21st of March to go Sharlott [sp. Charlotte] N.C. the first Night I failed to get on the train & stayed at the Sea Brooks Hospital in Richmond Va I got on the train

March the 22nd 1865

6 o'clok P.M. on the 22nd and Shoved out for Sharlot N.C. from Richmond to Danville 140 miles from Danville to Greensborough 48 miles we get there on the 24 of March from Greensborough to Sharlot 90 miles I arrieved at Salsberry [sp. Salisbury] on the 25th & lay over for the night on the 26th landed at Sharlot 6 o'clk P.M. lay over for the night the 27th I got on the train and transpitation to Black Stock [sp. Blackstock] S.C. the train started 7 1/2 o'clk A.M. we arrived at Blackstock at 2 o'clk P.M. and
