on the 20th they passed on in Rout for Macon they were passing all Day & night they taken most all the Provisions Mr owens had his Negroes & horses all they could find I lay out in the Bushes with some of his stock he brought my Grub to me on the 21st some few yanks passed during the Day I was still laying out in the woods & my Grub brought to me by a friend on the 22nd I went in and Eat my Breakfast & then went Back to the thicket to my Post

to attend to my Buisiness I went Back & forward throught the Day and Done Duty at night I stayed in the house the yanks got all the horses in the neighborhood but a few on the 23rd no news various Rumers we Brought the Stock in at night on the 24th commenced plowing again was Rumered to Day that they was trying to make peace on The 25th Still at the Plow The 26th I went to Barnesville but Did not learn any news various Rumers in Regard to Peace nothing Reliable
