August The 30.1864

1 song ballad
They have given her to another
They have broken every vow
They have given her to another
And my hart is lonely know

2 They remembered not our parting
They remembered not our tiers
They have severed in our fatal hour
All The tenderness of years

3 They have given her to another
She is know his gentle bride
Had I loved her as a brother
I could see her by his side

4 But I know with gold they win her
And her trimbling hand beguile
And her mother she doth shun me
For she knows that I love her child
