FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, 1863.

Clear & cold to day, start from Hastings at 7.o.c. Arive in Redwing at 1.o.c. Distance 25 miles, Quartered in the City Hall

MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 1863.

Very pleasent Leave Wabashaw at 10 a m & arrive in Winona at 8.o.c Quartered in a store

 

SATURDAY 17

Cold & windy Left Redwing at 9.o.c in the morning for Lake City arrived at 12.o.c Qartered in a large Hall visit Mr H Bennett & family in the afternoon

 

TUESDAY 20

Snows all day Lay over at Winona Snowball in the afternoon Nothing worthy of note

 

SUNDAY 18

Very pleasent Leave Lake City at 9.o,c Wabashaw [sp. Wabasha], arrive at 12.o.c. distance 20 miles attended church in the Eavening.

 

WEDNESDAY 21

Warm & pleasent The Davis gave us a grand Dinner to day for which we feal very greatfull
