Rained last knight Nothing new from the army Patten [i.e., Private Andrew Patton] Desertid to day All quiet

THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 1863.

Pleasent Get Breakfast at Mr Dugits, layed arr all day arrested some cittizens

 

TUESDAY 24

Cloudy, comenced to Rain at 10.o.c Nothing going on but laying in our tents

 

FRIDAY 27

Cloudy this Morning Started for camp at 9.o.c Got Dinner at Concord [i.e., New Concord] Commenced to Rain at 11.o.c arrived at camp at five.o.c.

 

WEDNESDAY 25

Weather fine start for Murry [sp. Murray] on scout, at which place at half post 5.o.c. Made the inhabitants feade us Occupy the Court House

 

SATURDAY 28

Cloudy morning Build an Oven Gun Boat Lexington [i.e., USS Lexington] arrives to day All quiet at Roll call
