Pleasent Gun Boats gone Down the river No drill Had a fine game of Ball No news from anywhere

Rainy this morning Gen Asboth [i.e., General Alexander S. Asboth] goes to Columbus Two Gun boats arrive from Nashv [i.e., Nashville] bound up river All quiet at Roll Call

Very plesant went up to the big Sandy, confisicated 60 lbs salt a lot of whisky cotten & tobaco, & two lbs of Eggs for our own use stayed all night All quiet at Roll call
