SUNDAY, MAY 10, 1863.

Warm but rather windy, Retired at 8 1/2.o.c Four of the 111th Died last Knight, Gun Boat arrived with the Pay Most going to get our pay this afternoon E Freygang [i.e., Corporal Edward Freygang] came in with a Prisenor Majors Horse stolen

WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 1863.

Cloudy with the apperance of rain, Long Roll beats, fall into line in double quck False alarm, Skirmish Drill in forenoon Rain in .P.M Prisenor escaped from guard House

 

MONDAY 11

Very Pleasent, Boat arrived No Mail Recieve Our Pay I get $51'00 No drill to day

 

THURSDAY 14

Cool & Pleasent company on fatigue in .A.M. Mail arives, E Pierce [i.e., Sergeant? Ephraim Pierce] recieves his Commishin

 

TUESDAY 12

Very Pleasent No Drill in forenoon Battallion in the .P.M Some of our Boys have Just come in & brought 9 rebble Geurrilles Dress Parade all quiet at Roll Call

 

FRIDAY 15

Very Pleasent Drill in the afternoon Gun Boat arived All quiet at Roll Call
