Pleasent, Non Commish & Comp Drill in A M Battallion in P.M. Mail Boat Roena arrived, No Letters Edward on guard

MONDAY, MAY 25, 1863.

Warm Officers Drill Company & Battallion Drills Mail arrives get One letter

 

SATURDAY 23

Cool & Cloudy no Drill to day Take or tents down Dress Parade, No Mail to day

 

TUESDAY 26

Very warm, On guard, Commish & noncommishoned Oficers muster Start on a scout at six.O.C Bivioucked at Eleven.o.c. 12 miles from Camp

 

SUNDAY 24

Very warm, Grand Review to day, Mail arives, this morning, Get no Letters Preaching this eavening No news from the south

 

WEDNESDAY 27

Pleasent Resume our March at daylight Divide our company up into 4 Divishions Scout up the big Sandy, Get Dinner at Williams Arrive at Manleyvill [sp. Manleyville] at 7.o.c get supper with old secesh Biviouck in the woods
