Cloudy very warm Breakfast at Mr Banhooks Dinner at Pruetts arrive at Marlboro at 6.O.C Cavelry caught two Geurrilles, Biviouced in an old cotten House Get supper at Lipes

SUNDAY, MAY 31, 1863.

Cloudy with the apperance of rain Remain in Huntington all day Bell for Supper, on guard Agutant-Morce [i.e., Adjutant William F. Morse] came in to Knight

 

FRIDAY 29

Raining Breakfast at Lipes Leave Marlboro for Huntington Dinner at Rivers, Supper at Mr James Rogers Fine shower this afternoon, sleepe in the woods

 

MONDAY, JUNE 1

Very Pleasent Breakfast at Johnsons, Receive orders to return to camp orders to go to Vicksburg Dinner at Shaddericks arrive in Caleadonia 3.O.C.P.M Quartered in an old church

 

SATURDAY 30

Raining, Breakfast at Mr Hamlins. Arrive at Huntington at 11.O.C AM. Start out on a scout & Dress 7 Horses & Mules & back at Dark, Sleepe in the Court House Churchill [i.e., 1st Lieutenant Jonathan A. Churchill] starts with 10 men on a scout, 5 ofc come in

 

TUESDAY 2

Rainy all day Left Caledonia at 7.o.c Dress 5 Teams Get Dinner in Paris arrive in Camp at 12 1/2 OC at Knight
