Cypress Bend]		*TUESDAY, JUNE 30, 1863.* Cloudy this morning Bombardment ceased down below Received two Letters One from Ill & one Minn No Dress Parade, D 11 Started for Vicksburg
*SUNDAY 28* Cloudy Inspection of arms & ammunition Bombardment ceased to day at Vicksburg Dress Parad Roll Call at 4.o.c After which we repair to our Humble couches to visit the Land of Dreams		*WEDNESDAY, JULY 1* Very warm, 25 returned from Cyprus bend Write two Letters No Dress Parade David returned from Vicksburg Did not find his Brother
