As Harlan is writeing home I thought I would write a few lines I heard that Jacob Collins was at home and I thought perhaps he could bring me some things If he can bring them I want 2 lbs of tobacco and my watch if you can spare it for I think I can sell it a a very good price and my boots Perhaps he cannot bring my boots Every thing is going on finely the rebs are crossing the river The 15th Corps captured 4000 prisoners yesterday And the signal Corps report our Cav in Atlanta last eave
