May the 21st/65
Good morning Huldah.

     I hope you are all well this beautiful Sabbath morning: my pet has got about well my health is good: oh how thankful wee Should be for the many blessings that wee have received) Dearest thare is no news that will be interesting to you: tell me when you hered from the regt last they will not Send us to the regt nether will they give us permition to go I recon they intend to keep us here untill our time is out well love that is not verry long compared

with the time that wee have been out ) yet I cant Se why they will keep us here thare is nothing for us to do here Huldah tell them that writes to me to be Shure and put (Ward 44) on them (Direct in this way) Ward 44 9 Division

     if they are only Directed to Camp Dennison ) they Stop at the General office and wee hardely ever get them I have ritten to Several and have got no answer and very likely they have ritten and directed them rong ) well love this is quite a lonesom place espeshly on Sunday wee get no papers nor letter of Sundays ) I

Send A Harpers Weekly with pictures ) My aunt Mary Ryan wrote to me yesterday She wants me to come and See them I think I will go and see them if I can get a pass they live only Seven miles from Cincinnati I wish you (could be here and go with me) (and Willie) you asked in one of your letters if you had told me about Henry and ads Baby ) no you did not tell me any thing only what I have Spoken off ) but I Suppose they have got a Baby of Some Sort or other ) well Dear I will close for the presant as I will not send this out untill tomorrow ) Remember thare is a good time Comming we hope to See the day

this the 22 this leaves me in good health I hope it may finde my loved ones injoying the Same great blessing I have Just received a letter from Henry it was ritten on the 12: and Direct to Camp Dennison: one of the Boys hapened to be out and see my name advertised I got a pass and went and got it. Henry tells me they have a fine Son and they call him John Dearest i think By the last of this month I can have Some idea whether wee will get out before our time is out or not: let that be as it may wee are Seeing a verry good time here but as the war is over I would rather be at home I will close for the presant Remember me in your prayers yours untill death STR with my love
