Dear Uncle I take the presat opertunity of Riting you a fiew lines in answer to your cind leter which I recivd yesterday after I got off of Pickett and was glad to hear that you was all well I havnt any thing new to rite you at this time you wanted to no somthing more a bout albert Jackson Kuykendall is a going to start home in the morning and will giv you a greate deale of Satusfaction a bout him for he was in the same fight that Albert was killd in and helped to Barey him he says he will go up and see

Jack Says he nowed that man that stayd with Albert till he died and he will see him and find out all a bout what Albert talked a bout but he was willing to die and was in his Sences till he died Rite Soon and oftin and I will Rite to you as often as i can from your nephew
