Dear Husband
I have the pleasure of answering 2 letters to night one through the mail containing 20 dollars an other this Eavning By Mr Pullen Brought By Capt Sumner containing $100.00 I had not sold corn nor wheat as there was no spare time George did not get through with the fruit Trees In time to haul It In before the percent was aded & I did not give my self any more uneasiness a bout it But I gave Mr Pullen money this Eavning to pay them
Mr & Mrs Pullen Mr Mason & Martha Creed & Mary all spent the day with us yesturday Martha & Lizie waugh are spending a few days with us the children are had quite Jubilee over their Oranges you sent them they had kept very nicely
I am very glad to hear you are having such good health I hope It will continue so while you Remain In the army
I have not ben well for some time But I felt so bad this eavning I laid down & felt litel beter after taking a rest & concluded

I could answer your letters to night but you need not get uneasy about me I Intend taking something for my cough & to ad to my strength I will try to take a litle more rest In future
the family Is all well the Relations are all as well as usual Martha Is not well She wants you to answer Mr Masons letter

you seem to wish me to keep up with the movements of the Armies I am taking the dollar times but I do not like It the news news Is worn out before It reaches us in that paper I think I will subscribe for the Journal Field Elles [i.e., Fielding Ellis] Is Is very ankcious to rent the field next to woods or corn Mr. Pullen advises me to let him have It he thinks corn will be high every one seems to be turning their attention to the raising of tobaco
he wants furnish every thing & deliver one third of the corn In the crib I think I will let him have It we have plenty of Pasture & then It can be sowed In wheat next fall our oats was sowed In good time we are having a terible rain I hope it will not turn clear up cold If It should I fear the fruit will go

I did not finish my letter last night so I must make It short as George Is ready to start to town you must excuse me this time
